DARKENING VENETIAN BLINDS

A complete venetian blind system for shaft installation, with and without panels, designed to meet the special requirements for the darkening of living spaces. ALUKON LS Dark venetian blinds are completely opaque in the dark with illuminated interiors.

Due to the special slat contour, the intelligent light control technology of our LS 80 venetian blind slats is also used when the slats are open. It enables glare-free enjoyment of sunlight with maximum use of daylight. The light is directed to the ceiling and floods the room.
Heat rays in summer are deflected by the slats and in winter it helps to use solar energy and the sunlight level. This is done automatically in the predefined light guiding position of 20°. Constant readjustment is not necessary.

The special features of LS DARK are the unpunched slats, as the upward and downward movement takes place via the side lift in the guide rails. The extremely stable bottom rail is equipped with an additional anti-lift device for increased security.

External venetian blind with special design

The partially concave slats, which are flanged on both sides, are additionally provided with a piping on the lower edge flanging. On the one hand, this dampens the closing action and wind noises and, on the other hand, it optimally seals the slats so that they lie one above the other.

Guide channel prevents incidence of light at the sides

With special brush insert and, if required, with optional guide channel cover.

DARKNESS REALLY CAN BE THIS BEAUTIFUL – WITHOUT GLARE

From cosy atmosphere to opaque darkening. The light guiding slats have good closing action and also allow adequate darkening during the day. At night, the closed slats protect against view from the outside, even if it is brightly illuminated inside.

LS Dark

A darkening can be achieved much more effectively in the same living space with LS DARK, as no disturbing light spots shine into the interior thanks to the lack of lift strap punching required in the slats. This system also blocks the view into the illuminated apartment at night.

Flat slat F 80

The closed flat slats, which only overlap slightly, still let relatively high levels of daylight into the living space. The lift strap punchings also allow light to pass through and daylight can also pass through easily from the side in the guide rails area.
